When we sleep, our core temperature drops, causing our bodies shed heat into the space around us. And depending on your bedding, this can trap heat and result in hot, sweaty sleep — which is anything but restful.
For those of us who run warm overnight, consider a cooling mattress to help you beat the night sweats. How much does the right mattress matter for a hot sleeper?

Mattresses made with memory foam or tight knit layers can trap heat close to the body causing it to generate and build up as you sleep.
