Autumn was my favorite time during my childhood (and yes, I admit it still is), with the trees shedding their leaves, the beginning of the holidays, and the family recipes my mom pulled out of her recipe box and made, including everything pumpkin. I love every single thing about pumpkins, from carving them into jack-o-lanterns to eating the many recipes that include this culinary delight.

Needless to say, my fall decorations always include pumpkins. So, when I saw this pumpkin-shaped baking dish from Staub, it immediately got added to my collection. And right now, you can add it to yours, too. Although the leaves aren’t turning colors yet, Amazon has already discounted the dish, and we’re pretty sure this little baking dish is going to go quickly.

This ceramic pumpkin baking dish makes me smile every time I look at it, and I look at it a lot. During this time of year, it sits prominently on my kitchen counter as a decoration until I’m ready to fill it up with delicious concoctions. This dish is very versatile and can be used in everything from the microwave, freezer, and broiler, and is oven-safe up to 572°F. I use it to bake pumpkin pies (of course!) and make baked bries. It’s also great for holding seasonal dips or individual servings of stew or pot pies.

When I’m not using it for baking, I love to fill it with seasonal candy pieces or pumpkin-shaped cookies. The two handles on the sides are easy to grip and carry the dish around, and the stem is on top to complete the pumpkin design. I’m more of a traditional pumpkin type of person, so I have the orange-colored pumpkin baking dish in my house, but it’s the black option that’s currently on sale.  I absolutely adore this piece, and it always has a special place on my Thanksgiving holiday table.

This pumpkin baking dish is a much-used and talked-about piece at my house, and it’s sure to become one at yours too. It’s on sale for a limited time, so grab it while you can. It’s sure to bring a smile to your face, like it does mine.
